Hard to know what to quote in your long message. I think all of it is
an attempt to justify fine distinctions in the meaning of words. (03)
Once again, on this topic, I suggest people simply look at what
Chaitin himself has to say. (04)
This is not to confound the way you choose to label his arguments, but
because I feel what he does has important practical consequences for
the way we choose to model knowledge. (05)
Talking of labels, I myself have come to see mathematics as just
another model of knowledge. Albeit a partial one. And the nature of
that partiality says a lot for the partiality of our everyday
ontologies. Chaitin goes into some depth on the nature of that
partiality. (06)
Indeed the question of whether or not we should think about
mathematics as just one other model of knowledge might make an
interesting thread. Perhaps it has come up. Can anyone direct me to
the discussion? (07)
