As an interesting aside / observation on the first part of that talk:

I find it delicious that even though Pat would likely never admit it (and has in the past dismissed McLuhan's work), it was the nature of a medium (the web) and how it influenced / interacted / transformed logic that prompted a rethinking and ultimately reworking of it, resulting in blogic :P
