The same query "Taliban attacks at night by location" gets 301,000 results on google search, based on  one or multiple word matches.   But then, does that help?  What is the answer one is looking for?

 

I am assuming that at present, their  interpretation of the query/ search / computation is based on thier own information/ knowledge base and not based on all the information available on the net!  

 

When there is a result, it seemed to be correct and precise.  Otherwise, it  says that it can not interpret the input.   There are quite a few mathematical formule there and looks useful.

 

Well, at least it tells the truth at this point!   ( or appears that way  at the Apha stage!   In math,  2+2 is always 4 and there is no other answer! )  !

 

I am aptimistic about this tool !

Gave is a harder query: "Taliban attacks at night by location" and got
the same response.

Guess I'm off to that article on what it can and can not do.

Curious, a semantic prototype I worked on eight years ago could answer
such queries and it was a relative drop in the bucket compared to WA.
