Well, this *is* what the field called 'ontology engineering' actually
means by the term "ontology". When bridge engineers use the term
"bridge", do they mean to include the geology of the ground supporting
a bridge to be part of the actual bridge? Or does bridge engineering
distinguish the artifact (the bridge) from the ground it rests on? I
think the latter, in fact: and that is all I am suggesting here for
ontology engineering. It was only a terminological point. I know how
to engineer axioms, bearing various groundings in mind (of course). I
have no idea how to engineer groundings, or even what that could mean. (03)
