Sven and all

wikis and other online publishing tools that have become popular in the last decade, were designed to be intutitive, and to allow non  techs to actually publish information online without prior knowledge

admittedly, wikis have always come across as a bit hostile, for some reason, and even reasonably expert users find them a bit puzzling at times  -  even counterintuitive, depending where you are coming from

 there is an important role for domain experts who find it difficult to interact with new tools as critical in the development of new usability practices.

new technologies are being built so that  (eventually) non tech people can use them, and if that is not the case,then we should definitely learn something

so, I ll take the liberty of noting down your name and will be in touch when we start our next
user group. your cooperation will be very valuable

maybe we can find others too.....

Hello Sven

Speaking as a nurse and a Doctor of Education I feel perhaps it is a
tad harsh to single out the nursing profession as having a lack of IT
knowledge. Surely this negates the adoption of an ontological
perspective to sharing knowledge??
