The only way to find out anything at all about a
dead brain is to slice it up and look at the
slices under a microscope. Whole brains are just
lumps of fatty meat. And by all accounts (see the
NPR link) this brain wasn't in fact very
remarkable in any physical respect (which by all
accounts has absolutely nothing to do with what
the brain actually does.) Theories which relate
brain size or shape to mental qualities have a
very checkered history, mostly connected with
Nazi theories of racial superiority of the Nordic
