We had, on Thursday 6-September-2007, a most wonderful
presentation from invited speaker Mr. Adam Pease, CEO of
Articulate Software , who gave a talk on: "The Suggested Upper
Merged Ontology (SUMO) at Age 7: Progress and Promise." (01)
Mr. Pease covered some key tenets of formal ontologies, and gave
a comprehensive description of the Suggested Upper Merged
Ontology (SUMO). He then provided an update on the latest
developments in SUMO, as well as work that SUMO has been involved. (02)
Thank you, Adam, for the talk, and for sharing your insights with
the community. As always, our appreciations go also to all who
joined us at the event; especially for their contributions to the
rich discussion we had during the last segment of the session. (03)
