Pat,    (03)

I know many engineers ...    (04)

Many engineers are friends of mine ...    (05)

Systems engineers think very generally about "systems that do things".
If you have them in mind as potential users of "ontological engineering"
and "semantic we technology", or whatever the hecque we are calling it
this month, then it behooves you to take their needs and working modes
into account.    (06)

No, not a lot of them use words like "epistemic" and "deontic",
but they do spend a lot of time talking about "what it does",
"what it's supposed to do", "what's the diff between them",
"what external resources and internal models does/ought
it have in order to do something about the diff thereof",
just to name a few questions off the top o' my head.    (07)
