John,
Thanks for reply
my point was mainly to say that to make the ontology from a relational
schema you have an obvious difficulty, that the relational schema is
derived from the conceptual one, and that needs to be built with some
level of ontology in mind (01)

OK.
but what about, if the problems that we are trying to solve have all a
common root?
and that root is an 'ontological question?' (03)
The way I see it, people have different problems, okay - but all the
problems, or at least many of them derive from the inability to define
meaningfully ( exhaustively, sufficiently, comprehensively) the
reality that they need to confront. Thus the reality appears
impenetrable and elusive, leaving us with more questions than answers
each time (this is when I go for a walk and you dont see me for a
while) (04)
I am happy to start working on the problem definition. (tag: attempt) (05)
How should we go about defining the problem and have the multiple
views represented?
I think everyone should create a wiki entry describing the problem as
they see it.
We can then analyze the result and come up with a problem picture
perhaps, other ideas? (06)
