Hi,    (01)

It may be if interest for to know that integration if various modeling
styles are being implemented into UN/CEFACT Modeling Methodology (UMM).
First out is Core Components style.    (02)

Here is a UML based set of principles that can be used to store CC's
and BIE's definitions:    (03)

One of the advantages with UML storage of CC's and BIE's definition is
the integration with modeling software tools. And many UML vendors has
free versions of their tools. Another advantage is that one can use CC
in creating one own documents or data messages using more UMM base derivation
and semantical techniques.    (05)

In this profile semantical techniques from OWL and UML are being incorporated
in order to support modeling styles. There is also am increasing interest in
translating UMM into another meta language than UML and a few efforts are
underway.
In one project a Protege model is already available.
