Jon,    (01)

Acknowledge your input.    (02)

We plan to send an "invitation" around, and we will only be subscribing
those who response indicating their desire to participate. We're planning to
have people indicate whether they intend to be "active" or just be
"observers" too. So, when the invitation comes around to you, just take the
option you desire.    (03)

We will be providing everyone (in our invitation) with the link to the open
html-based message archives. That way, you (or anyone) can go in anytime you
want/need to browse the messages, even if you are not "subscribed". Only
subscribers will be able to "post", though. The archival process for new
messages is set to run every 15 minutes; so you can expect the archive to be
quite up-to-date.    (04)

Regards,
PPY
