Yes, at Vespucci, we ask for what Antony suggests from all (because we select participants), and for the specific travel support need from those who ask for support. The actual decisions have to be taken without full information and assuming honest statements, but this is all we can do, I think.

This isn't something we've discussed up to now, I think. I guess a CV together with a statement of why they want to attend the summer school and what they hope to get out of it e.g., in terms of furthering their career development etc. Any other ideas?
