Charters are public documents: They are used to create the OGC web pages describing the work of an OGC Standards Working Group.

I have no problem sharing the GeoSparQL document with W3C. Actually, as Chair of the OGC TC, I have the authority to share specific OGC documents with other SDOs.

So, please do share the charter with the W3C. The attached is the latest version with a few edits that I just completed.

Regards

Carl

Gary and Josh -  This jogged my memory and I don?t remember if I ever got back to you about a conversation I had with Mark Reichardt.  We talked about GeoSemantics and SOCoP collaboration and the OGC Portal.  Mark is not keen on opening the Portal to non-member access but is fine with the idea of having those documents that are OK for general viewing or use available on another portal such as Ontolog or  SOCoP wiki.

Note,

The document is posted on an OGC site and requires an OGC member sign-on.

A draft charter for a proposed GeoSparQL Standards Working Group (SWG) has been posted to pending documents:

http://portal.opengeospatial.org/files/?artifact_id=39113&version=1

The purpose of the GeoSPARQL SWG will be to create a feature/spatial query language syntax for anything that can have an RDF representation.

A draft of the candidate standard is also posted to pending documents:

http://portal.opengeospatial.org/files/?artifact_id=39113&version=1

If you are interested in participating in this new SWG, please take a moment to read the charter. Also, if you would like to be a charter member of the SWG, please let me know.

Finally, any questions or concerns, please let us know.
