Sure, Nancy, you might ask them to participate, i.e., join the ontology-summit
mailing list (and Ontolog), look over the theme and Tracks this year at
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2012, and possibly even
present at session panels (we'll defer to the Track Co-Champions, as they
organize the sessions). Off-hand, maybe Track 4? Large-scale Domain

Again, I am in contact with the architects of iPlant
(http://www.iplantcollaborative.org/discover/semantic-web) and CUAHSI
(http://www.cuahsi.org/). Both of those large systems incorporated
semantics in some manner. These systems could be of interest either for
the applications themselves or for how the architecture was designed to
include semantic components. I don't know their designs myself, but it
is something I am interested in and may be of interest for one of the
tracks.
