I hope I am not repeating something that was already agreed upon, but a
practical requirement on a good units ontology will be a mapping to
UN/CEFACT codes for units, at least the basic ones listed at (01)

When designing GoodRelations, I reviewed quite a few available standards
for units and eventually selected UN/CEFACT because it seemed the best
solution at that time. Now, in practical projects it shows that it was a
good choice, because those codes are frequently available in the
available local database schemata. (05)
