I just want to remind you that,
because the meeting is taking place at a government facility, we must have the names
of the on-site meeting attendees in advance. So please take a moment to
register if you think you will be attending – registration is free. This
also helps us with our logistics planning.
Thanks so much.

Subject: Registration is now open for the 2009 Ontology Summit - Toward
Ontology-based Standards
On behalf of the co-organizers listed below, I would like to
invite you to participate in this year’s Ontology Summit 2009
face-to-face workshop, which is scheduled for April 6-7, 2009, in Gaithersburg,
MD, as part of NIST’s annual “Interoperability Week”. There
is no charge for attendance.
Activity has been heating up on this year’s theme:
Toward Ontology-based Standards, so please check the website
at http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2009
to see what has already happened, and what is still scheduled to happen as we
approach the April 6-7 face-to-face meeting.
Because NIST is a government facility, pre-registration for
the physical meeting is required. Please visit http://www.nist.gov/public_affairs/confpage/090406.htm.
Again, there is no registration fee.
To register for remote participation, please go instead to
the Ontolog link at http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2009/WorkshopRegistration
to add your name to the list. (Please don’t also register at the NIST
site because it costs NIST some dollars for each on-site participant).
I look forward to seeing (or hearing) you at these upcoming
events.
