Dear Colleagues,

Hopefully you are all aware that with Peter Yim’s retirement, the organization and governance of the Ontolog Forum has changed so that we now have a Board of Trustees that has overall responsibility for running the Ontolog Forum and associated activities. The current members of the Board of Trustees can be found here:

It is expected of members of the Board of Trustees that they make a significant contribution to the administration and operation of Ontolog activities. Several of the original trustees found they were unable to make that commitment and have resigned. We thank them for their contribution. This means we are looking for some additional members of the Board of Trustees who are prepared and able to help in running the Ontolog Forum. The process for creating new members for the Board of Trustees is given here:

We have three people nominated to become members:

They have indicated that they are prepared to serve, but now need to be endorsed by at least eight members. So, if you are happy to endorse one or more of these, please do so to this list.

You may of course wish to nominate someone else, in which case please do so again to this list (please make sure they are willing to be nominated and are prepared to meet the commitment of membership before you do so).
