I strongly agree with both.  For computers and people, any speech
act only makes sense in context.  And the context depends critically
on much more than the immediate surroundings.  The goal or intention
is critical.    (04)

DN: This is probably also further compounded by the fact that each of us
has a different interpretation of the meaning of SOA.  When folks discuss
SOA on this list, it might be useful to use the OASIS Reference Model for
SOA, as a point of reference.  This model does not claim to be
authoritative, it merely offers a point of reference to start from when
explaining your definition of SOA.  Such was the design purpose.    (05)
