But if you just need definition of definition why not use definition 2.a from http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/definition

I have an EXCELLENT reason why to NOT use http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/definition

Are you aware of the Wall Street Journal series about privacy (the lack there-of) on the web?   If memory serves www.dictionary.com (which owns Merriam-Webster) is hands down the worst offender for putting tracking cookies on your computer.  Hit dictionary.com for how to spell obesity correctly & you'll be dogged by weight-loss ads.  Age appropriate, of course, since they already know that about you.  Nice, eh?

Today's installment...  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703904304575497903523187146.html?mod=WSJ_hps_LEADNewsCollection    I have no idea what cookies you'll pick up by following that URL, or if the URL will work at all.
