Thank you Enrico,

terrific!

now I have 3 end-points:-)

And I'd like to post first note:

A structure of answer at Attempto/RACE and PowerAqua is oriented on KB-engineer, not end user.
It is I hope small deal (for programmer) but very important (for user).

You are absolutely correct. Currently the focus is on scaling up to the very large amounts of data that exist on the SW and on achieving a good degree of precision and recall. As a result, the current interface is primarily for people exploring the technology. However we are working on a new interface to ensure a much more user-friendly interaction.

Watch this space!

A structure of answer at http://www.reengineeringllc.com/ is a table - I think it's OK for end user.

you may want to have a look at PowerAqua, http://technologies.kmi.open.ac.uk/poweraqua/. It provides a natural language front end to a 'Semantic Web', which means it can be used with back end repositorites which can be heterogeneous in nature, such as the set of ontologies and RDF resources crawled by Watson, http://watson.kmi.open.ac.uk/. In other words, PowerAqua does not require any kb-specific customization to work, it uses WordNet and the SW itself as sources of background knowledge, to try and map NL queries to statements in a (possibly heterogeneous) back end repository.

The demo page, http://technologies.kmi.open.ac.uk/poweraqua/demo.html, contains two instances of the system, which you can try out.

Good Luck!

Enrico

PS Please note that, depending on the query, you may have to wait a while for an answer!

Dear all,

while OWL-community is developing SPARQL as a language for TBL-agents
are there any natural language end-point to knowledge base available?
specifically:
- web-based end-point;
- and returning a knowledge (a set of sentences for further development).
I do know only one: http://attempto.ifi.uzh.ch/race/

I did not find one to http://www.opencyc.org/:(

Please tell me more,

Alex
