That is allright. I am not discussing physics, just using an analogy. It follows from there that we need to synchronize all the time, and it is easy for those living in one location and one time zone, etc.
Destruction occurs in the world of knowledge representations as well. Whenever you have a drastic change, change to metric, change of prices, change of ideology, all your previous knowledge become nill and void overnight.
