The attached might be an ad, but I present it as a counterexample to 
what I said earlier (to Jyoti).  SWRL apparently lives!

I just wanted to point out that my company [1] is commercially
supporting and developing a SWRL implementation in Pellet, our OWL
reasoner, focusing on the DL Safe Rules subset. We're doing that
commercially, for both government and commercial clients.    (07)

You might enjoy the recent series of weblog posts about our position
re: SWRL and DL Safe Rules on our weblog [2].    (08)

We're very active in the HCLS area, where interest in SWRL and DL Safe 
Rules is very high. We've also been responsible for the OWLED [3] 
workshops, where interest in SWRL in the context of OWL is always high.    (09)
