Astroparticle physics is the Science of the future. It is a dynamic field trying to answer some of the most exciting mysteries of the Universe, with a very-high discovery potential.

What is the Universe made of? What is the origin of cosmic rays? What is the nature of gravity?

To ensure the leading position of Europe in Astroparticle physics and organize the discipline, European research agencies are defining a common strategic plan, especially with respect to large-scale infrastructures.

The European Astroparticle physics network orrganizes an important workshop to discuss these priorities. It will be held in Amsterdam on the 20th and 21st September 2007. 

More than 200 European senior physicists are expected to attend this meeting.

We are also very pleased to welcome Nobel laureates J. Cronin and G. Smoot, who will review important developments in Astroparticle physics and cosmology in their talks.
