Mike,    (01)

If you include "information model" as "ontology", then the ISO TC184/SC4 is
one very large repository, in routine use, Boeing included,    (02)

http://www.nist.gov/sc4/    (03)

The language used is the ISO standard "EXPRESS" language, ISO 10303-11.    (04)

Can anyone point to some very large ontologies that are in routine use? I
know there are some in the medical informatics area, but am unsure of what
they are called. One is on the order of 35K items, perhaps in genetics.    (08)

If anyone can supply any details I would be grateful.    (09)

Thanks
