You may want to add web links in the elements of this sentence: 

This school enriches the set of IAOA activities like the Summer Institute, the FOIS conference series, the FOMI and WOMI workshop series, the Special Interest Groups and Applied Ontology journal.

Also, maybe it should be the "Vespucci Summer Institute" (as the other activities are also specific). 

What is missing, I think, are outcomes for participants: what will they learn or otherwise achieve during the week?

Another practical issue we had discussed in Fiesole but never resolved, I think, is whether attendees can get formal credits (e.g. from the university of Trento), and how many, with what requirements.

A couple of suggestions:

1) Change "from their discipline viewpoint" to "from each discipline's viewpoint" (or "point of view")

2) Change "differed" to "different":

"The emphasis is on ontological analysis and the goal is to show how the different disciplines interact ..."

3) Also, you might want to provide links to FOIS, FOMI, WOMI, and perhaps expand the acronyms.
