Hello All,    (01)

We are looking for collaborators to validate intrinsic and extrinsic
criteria of OQuaRE and for ontology metrics developers interested in
including their own metrics in OQuaRE in order to present a Proposal
for Hackaton-Clinics.
------    (02)

Title: Validating OQuaRe and completing it with additional
subcharacterictics and quality metrics
Astrid Duque Ramos and Jesualdo Fernandez Breis    (03)

Abstract: OQuaRE is a framework for Ontology Quality Requirements and
Evaluation based on ISO/IEC 25000:2005, the standard for Software
Quality Requirements and Evaluation, OQuaRE defines intrinsic and
extrinsic quality criteria in terms of quality sub-characteristics.
This ontology clinic pursues the validation of the quality
sub-characteristics and metrics defined in OQuaRE and the addition of
the new metrics, sub-characteristics or the association of existent
metrics with the existent sub-characteristics. To meet this target we
are searching for ontology evaluation experts and ontology experts who
want to propose new sub-characteristics or redefine the existent ones
and for ontology metrics developers who want to include their own
metrics into the OQuaRE sub-characteristics in order to complement the
existent ones.    (04)

OQuaRE aims to define all the elements required for ontology
evaluation: evaluation support, evaluation process and metrics. The
current version of OQuaRE includes, so far, the quality model and the
quality metrics.
    1. The quality model is composed of a set of quality
characteristics such as structural, functional adequacy,
maintainability, etc, and its associated sub-characteristics such
as reliability, reusability, availability, redundancy, consistency, etc.
    2. The quality metrics have been taken from the state of the art
of the ontology such as Depth of subsumption hierarchy, Class
Richness, Tangledness, etc.
Complete definition of OQuaRE is available in:
         http://miuras.inf.um.es/evaluation/oquare/ and
http://miuras.inf.um.es/oquarewiki/    (05)

Collaborators:
Astrid Duque Ramos, PhD student in Computer Science at the University
of Murcia, Spain. Jesualdo Tomás Fernandez Breis, PhD in Computer
Science by the University of Murcia, Spain.
We would provide the facilities for the discussion and arrangement of
the results.
We are searching for:
o Ontology evaluation experts and ontology experts who want to
evaluate OQuaRE and propose new sub-characteristics or the
redefinition of the existent ones.
o Ontology metrics developers who want to include their own
metrics into the OQuaRE sub-characteristics in order to complement the
existent ones.    (06)

Objectives / Goals:
The main goal of the Clinic is the OQuaRE validation and improvement.    (07)

Expected Deliverables:
- A set of new quality sub-characteristics and metrics
- A list of issues found in the currently definition of OQuaRE.
- Recommendations for measuring some of the quality sub-characteristics    (08)
