Dear Eric,
1. Re: connecting via skype into the virtual session ...
All you would need to do is to connect to the skype-user "joinconference" ... you can have that in your contact list, or you may just choose to paste that to the dialpad field (where you would usually put in the phone number you are calling) and then just "call". It doesn't even matter if "joinconference" indicates that it is online or offline. ... You can find more details at: http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?VirtualSpeakerSessionTips#nid121G
Every session, we have dozens of people connecting through skype (and connecting through normal phone lines) and quite a few of them are from the EU too, therefore, this does work!
2. Ref. the "dropbox" documents you shared with me offline
As I mentioned in my earlier response, I am not a French speaker (and I believe you said your documents are in French), and also, that I am pre-occupied with rolling out the OntologySummit now. Therefore please bear with me for not being responsive. .... [note, also, that I did not pass your work along to my acquaintances.]
If part of that work pertains to the topic/sub-topics of this OntologySummit, feel free to share your insights via this list with the rest of the community yourself. ... Note, though, that our open IPR Policy does apply - see: http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nid32 - i.e. please do not share any non-open material, nor anything you do not have IPR on or permission to share, on this collaborative work environment.
We shall look forward to your participation and contribution at the next virtual session, and on this mailing list.
Thanks & regards. =ppy

Dear Peter Yim,
Last January 9, I tried hard to connect, but it is only today that I have had the "Screen", the "Formula", to let "<<"Ontology Summit 2013" <ontology-summit@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >> " then
"joinconderence" as my "Contact" ! So, I sent the following Message : <<I am a new User of Skype, and I was invited to connect with the : <<"Ontology Summit 2013" <ontology-summit@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >> Conference ! It Failed last Time, as I didn't obtain from "Skype" the "Window" I am now Typing here ! >>> !
Then I should have "joinconference" in my "Contacts" then, next time, I hope I will be able to connect in due time !
The question of the "Quality" of an Ontology is a pinpoint of my interests, then I am very
happy that you provide a way to "participate asynchronously" ! At least for this first topic ! But, I need a while to read the Documents in : <http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2013_01_17>. >> !
Be sure it will be one of my favorite pages for surfing on the web next days !
Well, Dear Peter Yim, You didn't say to me if any of your acquaintances reading some French had at least a glance on the "Dropbox" files you connected on,
and if the "*.owl" file I sent before was successfully opened, and the Tree below the "Thing" root item was successfully developed ?
In hope of a more fruitful interaction next time, Sincerely yours.
Eric Beaussart.
