I have no first-hand knowledge about Content Centric Networking, but
from reading the public documents, I would agree with Ed's conclusion: (02)

CCN seems to be a technique for distributing relevant information
more efficiently. But it does not seem to be doing any deeper
kind of reasoning with or about the information. (04)
