Anyone interested to find out more about the status of the OOR
initiative, and how to contribute content to our first instance of the
(sandbox) repository is encouraged to come join us at our regular
(every other week, Fridays) conference calls.    (01)

Our next call will be on tomorrow (Friday 2009.05.15) - see:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OOR/ConferenceCall_2009_05_15    (02)

Best regards. =ppy

Hi Pat,
as Peter noted in another message, the OOR group has already made
available a Sandbox
repository that is based on the BioPortal architecture. Currently, this
is restricted to accepting
ontologies in OWL and other formats used in BioPortal. I have a student
who just started in
the last couple of weeks, and his job is to generalize this to handle
Common Logic ontologies.    (05)

Pat,    (010)

The OOR (Open Ontology Repository) initiative already (since it's
announcement on 2009.02.19 - see:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2009_02_19 )
has a sandbox version of the repository available to everyone
interested (based on the NCBO BioPortal implementation, and hosted at
CIM3).    (011)

Please try it! ... This OOR sandbox is at: http://oor-01.cim3.net/    (012)
