With all this hand waving and gnashing of teeth over units, I would like
to point to another elephant in the room that is a perfect candidate for
a cross-functional-domain upper level ontology, specifying accuracy
and precision [1]. (02)
It is a very specific notion, with clearly defined terms (even if they
are difficult to distinguish from more ambiguous uses of the same term
in English). The mathematical processes for carrying these concepts I
believe are well defined, even if I don't understand them all. (03)
Before I get too carried away, let me say thank you for the forum, wiki,
presentations, and the sympathetic ear to vent all this pent up frustration! (04)
