The terms top-down and bottom-up have been kicked around
for years in various contexts, and they tend to be highly
ambiguous. The equation of bottom-up with "driven by end
user of knowledge" is a new variation, which might be
useful, but it just makes the term even more ambiguous. (02)
Re freebase and ontobase: They look interesting, and
perhaps they might evolve into something useful. (03)
