Do you mean monofilament ontology as in coherentism or paraconsistency, or something else entirely?

I used to know folks who were heavy into Monolithic Ontologies ---
apparently some folks here are fans of Monofilament Ontologies ...

Anyway, my research interests in the (19)90's induced me to dip into the
literatures on critical thinking, learning organizations, and reflective
practitioners with more than my usual intermittency, and my more recent
Year Of Living Dangerously on projects like Wikipedia and Citizendium
has caused me to reflect once again on the vicissitudes of critical
thinking with something of a vengeance, you might say.  There are
a couple of kin in my immediate family who study organizations,
from cults and grass-roots self-help groups to corporations
and universities, all from a number of different angles of
anthropological, psychological, and sociological study,
so I get a lot of "sociology for dummies" lectures
from them on these subjects.

There are scads of interesting, old and new literature streams in this area,
and I started a rather random reading list on another wiki somewhere that I
will try to find later on today.
