If you had trouble with the slides, it's likely something else
other than the choice of browser (we support Firefox, IE, Opera,
Safari, ... and almost all java-enabled browsers). (03)
Did you actually have trouble with accessing the VNC
shared-screen service and seeing slides presented there?
(if so, it might have been a firewall problem) (04)

Did you have trouble with opening up the powerpoint slides
locally on your own machine?
(to do that, you would need to have an application that is able
to view powerpoint files installed and properly associated to
that file type.) (06)
