All you will need to do is to call into the conference line, say, a
couple of minutes before the start time. (The line will become
available 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.) (02)
2. I will be advancing slides for the shared screen. There are also
people (those behind tight corporate firewalls) who will be running
the slides from their own desktop. As the speaker, you will need to
prompt us whenever you want to advance the slides. It will be good to
mention the slide number every time you advance, because that really
helps the async audience - i.e. those listening to the talk from the
podcast or the mp3 download to be sync up (and you can expect to have
an async audience that is many many times larger than your real time
auidence.) (03)

4. We can try it some time tomorrow morning (prior to the session) if
you want to -- you have to do it from the exact location with the same
equipment you'll be making the presentation from. We typically don't
need to do this (especially if you are no stranger to conference
calls) unless you have special demos to make or something. But I'm at
your disposal (I'm out most of today, unfortunately, but will be able
to do it any time tomorrow morning ... I'm used to working East Coast
