About this month's invited speaker: (07)
Steve Ray is Chief of NIST's Manufacturing Systems Integration
Division. He will be talking about the application of formalized
ontologies in the development of data standards. Ultimately, by
using this approach, the written documents that are now produced by
standards committees would only be informative, and the normative
standard would be delivered in first-order logic. (08)
