In 1991 she obtained a Ph.D. in computer science at the Universit√© Paul Sabatier in Toulouse on the Semantics of Spatial Expressions and the Representation of Space. She has been an INRA researcher from 1991 to 1993 and since 1993 she is a CNRS (French National Research Council) research fellow, at IRIT, Toulouse, France. Research interests    (1YBO)

Laure's past research has been structured around two main topics and their interplay: on the one hand, formal semantics, lexical semantics and discourse semantics; on the other hand, axiomatic theories and ontologies for the representation of space, time and material entities from a cognitive point of view. She is currently working on the discourse theory SDRT, on annotated discourse corpora, and on the ontology of action, interaction and social reality.    (1YBP)
