from time to time we have had an issue on teleconferencing for our monthly meetings.   At our May meeting (using Skpe since the Ontolog tele# was previously engaged)  Phil Yang (GMU) propoded that we might use http://www.mikogo.com/ for web conference and remote desktop sharing. Mikogo is a remote desktop desktop sharing tool that allows sharing  by multiple participants simultaneously and would add a visual component to our tele meetings.

GMU has an account that would make its use free to us, but people would have to download the client SW.

Phil is willing to set up a time for our meetings at the usual 11 on Wed time. This sounded like a good alternative and I wanted to see what the larger SOCoP community thought of using it. Please let me know your pro and con thoughts about trying this out for the June SOCoP meeting planned for Wed. the 20th of June.
