[socop-forum] Draft agenda for SOCoP Nov 18 meeting

Due to some conflicts among presenters our meeting for Nov has shifted to a Friday ( Nov. 18th).

Something else is new, we now have a new  Teleconference # for this Nov 2011 session (thanks to Ontolog) which is: 1 (206) 402-0100 (long distance cost will apply) ... [ backup nbr: (415) 671-4335 ]   and on the prompt you can  enter PIN: 141184#

We may use this number in future meetings, but some members are checking with their organizations for options.

 We expect to roughly divide the meeting into 2 parts.  The first 30 minutes of so will be devoted to SOCoP INTEROP topics and  scheduling while the last 30 minutes or so will discucss the upcoming Workshop at USGS and any other topics of general interest.

Several topics have been proposed including many on upcoming workshops.

 

 

     1 Update on the Nov. SSO workshop – first round of reviews is complete  

     2. Update on the Terra Cognita workshop

    3. Final plans for meeting at ORNL (TN) in Sept. – speakers  & their topics

    4. Plan for SemTechEast with possible 2nd Fall Workshop at USGS

    5. Update on OOR and candidate ontologies

    6. Update on plans for an improved WebSite
