The Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL in Birmensdorf (Zurich) is offering a (02)
PH.D. POSITION SPATIAL KNOWLEDGE PROCESSING (03)
The successful applicant will refine a formalism for spatial
knowledge representation, develop an implementation concept for an
application to process queries using local prepositions, such as
"close to", evaluate a prototype application and publish their
results in an international scientific context. (04)
The successful applicant is going to be associated with the Dynamic
and Distributed Information Systems Group (Professor Abraham
Bernstein, Ph. D, http://www.ifi.uzh.ch/ddis/). A doctor's degree
will be granted by the University of Zurich. (05)
