As discussed in the Feb SOCoP minutes SOCoP now has a discussion forum for members and interested parties.

We have started this with an invitation to all people on the SOCoP mail list.  Others may join and current members can remove themselves from the Forum list if the mail proves undesired.  All can view discussion without getting mail by going to:

This forum is part of the larger Ontolog Forum MailLog viewable at:

General and specific ontology issues as well as meeting, such as the Ontology Summit
being held at NIST on March 15-16, are discussed on the various forums seen there.

Next week's SOCoP meeting on the 17th will be an opportunity to discuss the forum.  If anyone
has topics for that meeting they can post them or questions here.

P.S.  It is recommended that you save this posting address
<socop-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> to your address book; set your mail
client to send & receive in plain text only, and to wrap the text with
line length of 65 characters. Also, please separate paragraphs with a
blank line to ensure optimal granular accessibility (i.e. proper
purple-numbering) to the archives.
