Dear all,     (01)

As part of Track G: Community Resources (Library, Data Collection, Ontology
Repository), we would now like to launch the Summit Repository for the
collection of relevant ontologies that are being mentioned in the various talks
and/or discussed on the mailing list. This is a service in addition to the
Zotero library initiated by Amanda.     (02)

Till Mossakowski's talk last week in Track-B gave a brief overview of the
ontohub.org platform. Additional information may be found at the website    (03)

http://about.ontohub.org    (04)

In particular in the wiki/FAQ/OntoIOp.     (05)

On each page/tab of ontohub.org, you also find a 'Help' button (top right).
These link to wiki pages that explain the functionality of the respective page,
and are currently being populated. Please note that Ontohub is under heavy
development and therefore not all features might work as expected.    (06)

Ontohub will also figure in this year's ontology competition at FOIS, which you
are kindly invited to consider contributing to with a submission.     (07)

http://fois2014.inf.ufes.br/p/call-for-ontology-competition.html    (08)

A basic set of instructions for using the summit repository on ontohub is
below. As with the Zotero library, if you are having trouble uploading your
content, I will be happy to assist.     (09)

All the best, Oliver    (010)

INSTRUCTIONS    (011)

(1) register at ontohub.org (and follow the confirmation instructions you will
receive by email)    (012)

(2) the "Ontology Summit 2014" repository should be publicly writable - for
"group membership' send an email to okutz@xxxxxxx, including the full name you
registered with (this will be automatised soon).    (013)

(3) after confirmation and for upload go to the Ontology Summit Repository    (014)

http://www.ontohub.org/repositories/ontology-summit-2014    (015)

and follow the link to    (016)

"Ontology files and related files"    (017)

(4) then click on "Upload file"     (018)

Options here:    (019)

"Target directory" - "leave this blank if you want to use the root directory"
"Target filename" - "leave this blank if you do not want to change the filename"    (020)

- Note, if you do not use a recognisable file format such as .owl, .clif,
.tptp, etc., the ontology will not be parsed correctly.    (021)

- Fill out the various metadata options (these can be edited/changed later
again)    (022)

(5) if you find problems or have other feedback about your experience, please
send email to ontohub-dev-l@xxxxxxx     (023)
