Session Co-chairs:
 Peter Yim (Ontolog; CIM3) & Michael Gruninger (IAOA; U of Toronto)    (013)

Topic: ONTOLOG Community Planning Session: Event Scheduling and
Planning for the Rest of 2013    (014)

== Abstract ==    (015)

This session is a culmination of the community input received during
the following recent community planning sessions:    (016)

* 2013_07_18 - OntologyBasedStandards mini-series community brainstorm
and program planning session -
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2013_07_18    (017)

action planning ("postmortem") session -
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2013_05_23    (020)

A strawman program, for events to be rolled out at the Ontolog Forum
during the rest of this year, has now been created. This will provide
a starting point for our discussion/deliberation during the session.    (021)

We will aim at defining the events, fitting the topics identified
earlier, into the rest 2013 event calendar, and postponing some till
after OntologySummit2014. Hopefully, by the end of this session, we
would have confirmed the content and champions for each of the virtual
panel sessions (between now and end-Dec 2013), in a way that will give
the community a strong and coherent program of events. We will also
take the opportunity to get community input on potential panelists for
each of these panel sessions, as recommendations to the session
chairs.    (022)

Please also refer to developing details on the session page at:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2013_09_12    (023)

******************    (024)

These sessions, like all Ontolog virtual events, are open and free of
charge. Anyone who is interested, or (better still) who may have
something to contribute, is welcome. Please refer to event details on
the session pages, to which the hyperlink is given above, where you
will find session agenda, conference call dial-in, slides and other
pertinent information. Feel free to pass this invitation along to
colleagues who may also find these sessions to be of interest.    (025)

*RSVP* by emailing Peter Yim at <peter.yim@xxxxxxxx> offline (or add
yourself directly to the session page if you are already an Ontolog
community member) so that we can prepare enough resources to support
everyone. [Please state clearly the date of the session you are
registering for in your email; your affiliation too, if you are not a
community member.]    (026)

These sessions will be recorded and made available in a publicly
accessible archive. Therefore, before participating, please make sure
you are cognizant of our IPR policy (ref:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nid32).    (027)

Regards.  =ppy    (028)
