Thank you for the prompt, Duane & Peter. To help make sure there is no
ambiguity, I have added the applicable definition of "development"
onto our Panel Session-1 (2009.12.17) chat transcript ... (02)

on the future of a field, sector, world or a domain (25WM) (03)
PeterYim: Q1: What major "development(s)" (please express in one
statement) do you foresee happening to the domain of Ontology or to

Spoken like a true, erm, ...developer ;-) (07)
Context, dear boy, context - development doesn't have to be about
having had something developed, as the European Commission's
Directorate General for Development would be quick to point out.... t
can also be a very (positive) commitment to do something in the
future.... (08)

It's one of those specialized "vocabulary" thing again. Terms like
"Development" (or "scenario," "wildcard," etc.) mean very different
things to different trades. We were using it the way they are used by
futurists (ref. definition on the presentation from ElizabethFlorescu
and I yesterday.) (015)

Not to nit pick, but isn’t a “development” by definition something
that has happened and cannot be in the future? (019)
