Quite a bit work has been done and continues to get done on Ontologies
and their uses in various application fields (business modeling,
knowledge management, etc. etc.). (01)
Perhaps an extensive survey of existing literature on various aspects of
Ontologies is required to develop a cognitive map of the field
(applications, languages, models etc.) to determine the areas for
ontology standards. (02)
