Coming up tomorrow will be our second OntologySummit2009 virtual panel
session, focusing on the  in the mini-series on the "Standards
Community Perspectives Toward Ontology-based Standards." Again, it
will take the form of a 2~2.5-Hr augmented conference call session on
Thursday 19-Mar-2009, starting 10:30am PDT / 1:30pm EDT / 6:30pm CET /
17:30 UTC.    (03)

The session is entitled: "The Standards Perspective -- What are
standards and how could ontology help?"    (04)

As mentioned in the earlier announcement, this session will be chaired
by Mr. Howard Mason (of BAE Systems), chairman of ISO TC 184/SC 4, the
standards body within ISO that sets standards for Automation systems
and integration with a focus on Industrial Data. On Howard's expert
panel will be: Dr.  Matthew West (Information Junction), Mr. David
Leal (CAESAR Systems), Mr. Gerald Radack (CTC), Mr. Nicolas Figay
(EADS) and Mr. David Shorter (IT Focus).    (05)

The session will start with briefing from the chair and the expert
panel, and then go into an extended Q&A and open discussion segment.    (06)
