Re: http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2008_12_11    (06)

Further to the two hugely successful sessions we had of our "Semantic
Wikis: The Wiki Way to the Semantic Web," we take pleasure in
presenting you the third session. ... You are cordially invited to
join us at the event, virtually, this coming Thursday 11-Dec-2008.    (07)

The session is entitled: "Semantic Wiki Technology (2): MediaWiki,
Semantic MediaWiki, Extensions, Add-on's and other Enhancements"    (08)

This session will be chaired by Mr. Max Voelkel (FZI, Karlsruhe,
Germany). He has put together a panel of Semantic MediaWiki (SMW)
technology developers who will be showing us, first hand, the SMW
extension and other MediaWiki (MW) extensions that enhances MW & SMW,
and enable this wiki platform to be capable of supporting a variety of
semantic applications. The panel will include Yaron Koren (Semantic
Forms, Semantic Drilldown, Semantic Result Formats, Semantic Google
Maps, Semantic Compound Queries and Data Transfer), Daniel Hansch &
Mark Greaves (the SMW Halo extension), Raphael Volz (a Rules Prototype
in SMW), Peter Yim & Ken Baclawski (PMWX - Fine-Grained Addressability
in Purple Semantic MediaWiki), and, Jie Bao (Concept Modeling on SMW).    (09)

Besides the ones mentioned above, we may also have "one slide" (3 min.
max) "lightning talks" from those who are developing related
technologies for the Semantic MediaWiki (SMW) platform. ... If you are
interested, just send us (Max Voelkel <voelkel@xxxxxx> and Peter Yim
<peter.yim@xxxxxxxx>) a title, a paragraph abstract, and your one
slide (in pdf, if possible) on/before end-of-day (tomorrow) Tue
2008.12.09, and we will add you to the agenda and proceedings.    (010)

As before, we will leave ample time for Q&A and open discussion at
this session, after we are done with all the prepared presentations.
We are confident that the mini-series will be useful for those who
seek to find out what semantic wikis are all about, as well as for the
serious developers, administrators and users of semantic wikis.    (011)
