*REMINDER*    (02)

The last of the four joint "Open Ontology Repository (OOR)" &
"Ontology Summit 2008" panel discussion sessions is coming up tomorrow
- Thursday, 10-April-2008 - a 2.5-Hour session starting at 10:30am PDT
/ 1:30pm EDT / 7:30pm CEST / 17:30 UTC - [World Clock:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=4&day=10&year=2008&hour=10&min=30&sec=0&p1=224
]    (03)

Please refer to details (somewhat updated) below in the earlier
announcement. After the three highly successful OOR-Panel discussions
we had on 2/28, 3/27, 4/3 during which we were able to bring together
world-class experts practitioners and researchers to share with us
their insights toward how a global Open Ontology Repository being
contemplated, the session (tomorrow) on 10-April-2008 is expected to
provide us input toward the technical basis, through which the key
requirements can be enabled. This will be the last of the virtual
panel discussions before we confer at NIST* on April 28~29, 2008.
Therefore, don't miss this session!    (04)

*RSVP* by e-mailing the sender off-line if you are planning to attend
and haven't already responded. (Make sure you state the date of the
event you are registering for. If you aren't already an Ontolog
member, please provide your affiliation and role as well, so other
participants can readily see who else is at the session.)    (05)

We look forward to having you at the session. Please refer to all
agenda and call-in details on the session page, whose link appears at
the top of this message.    (06)

Regards.  =ppy    (07)

P.S. *Reminder, once again, that registration for the Apr-28~29
OntologySummit2008 (face-to-face) Workshop at NIST (Gaithersburg,
Maryland, USA) is now open for both (free-of-charge) on-site and
remote participation ... note that on-site pre-registration is
mandatory and the deadline is Mon 2008.04.21; hotel room also needs to
be reserved by Sun 2008.04.13 for participants to enjoy the conference
rate - see: http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2008#nid16TF    (08)

P.P.S. Right after the Ontology Summit face-to-face workshop, on
30-April-2008 and at the NIST (Gaithersburg, MD) campus too (also a
part of the NIST Interoperability Week program) will be the
Collaborative Expedition Workshop #72 on "Exploring Identity
Management: Global Landscape and Implications for Stakeholder
Engagement Around the National Response Framework" (ref.
http://ontolog.cim3.net/forum/ontolog-forum/2008-04/msg00005.html ).
Various members of the ontology community will be provide input at
that session. Please do register to participate at that too! Note that
participants to both the Summit and the Expedition Workshop will need
to register separately ... please refer to details at the NIST
registration site.

 ******************** Details ************************    (019)

Following our highly successful panel discussion on Thu 28-Feb-2008,
where we explored the "Ontology Registry and Repository Technology &
Infrastructure Landscape," we are pleased to be able to bring
together, again, some of the world's top ontological content
custodians and researchers, to feature the following panel discussion
sessions. You are cordially invited to join us at these three (3)
 upcoming (virtual) panel sessions.    (020)

Two parallel initiatives are ongoing in the community, revolving around
the theme of "Open Ontology Repository". On the one hand, a working
group under the auspices of the Open Ontology Repository (OOR)
Initiative, and on the other, the discourse (and essentially a
discussion group that will culminate in a two-day workshop at NIST on
April 28~29, 2008) conducted as the main focus for Ontology Summit
2008. It is at the intersection of these two initiatives that this
panel discussion session is being held.    (021)

Besides hearing from the panelists, we are setting aside ample time
(~45 minutes) after their briefings, for some good Q&A and discussions
among all who will be participating in this sessions.    (022)

Please also refer to details at the respective project homepages of
 the two initiatives at:
  http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OpenOntologyRepository &
