So, "Person that likes icecream" whould be a "phased sortal", in thie sense?

 

MW: No. A phased sortal changes from one thing to another, e.g. caterpillar to butterfly. When it is a butterfly it is no longer a caterpillar. On the other hand a person that likes icecream is still a person.

 

MW: Likes icecream is just an accidental property that a person might have (or cat or dog etc.) It therefore applies to some state of person for which it is true.
