The Research Associate will develop scientific ontologies for data
interoperability and will manage the ontology life cycle from creation -
adding new terms, maintaining revisions, and releasing new versions.
This position will be responsible for managing an issue tracker for all
ontologies built and maintained by department researchers and will be
part of a team developing ontology evaluation and implementation
strategies.
Masters Degree in Philosophy, Biomedical Informatics or related field
plus 3 years of research experience required. Experience with Web
Ontology language and ontology version control through a content
management system such as SVN, Google Code, etc. preferred.
