*Reminder*    (01)

Mr. Jon Bosak of Sun Microsystems, better known to some of us as
the "Father of XML," will be presenting to the community. His
talk is entitled: "Governance in the Development of an OASIS
Standard for Business Documents."    (02)

Through his experience in leading the development of UBL as an
OASIS Standard, his drafting of the original OASIS process, and
those gained from his earlier career, Mr. Bosak will help us
tackle the theme that has been laid out for the CEW, i.e. to
explore the potentials and realities of governance mechanisms
that support virtual organizing and distributed, high performance
work by knowledge professionals and Communities of Practice.    (03)

Please refer to other details on the session wiki page at:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2005_09_23
. . .    (04)

*All participants are requested to dial into the conference call
by 10:20am PDT / 1:20pm EDT / 6:20pm UTC*    (05)

Regards.  =ppy    (06)

P.S. The session is coming up this Friday 9/23. (Note that this
is going to be on Friday, and not Thursday, as we would usually
have our functions.) ... RSVP (offline) if you are planning to
attend and haven't yet responded.
